While Sandwich was home to the first baseball team on Cape Cod, our 'local' Cape Cod league baseball team is now the nearby Bourne Braves. From mid-June to early August you can see MLB prospects up close for free and then you can say you knew them 'back when'.

With a long and rich history in glass-making, the Sandwich glass museum is the perfect location to see a gorgeous collection of hand-made glass pieces and watch a glass-blowing demonstration.

An iconic landmark within Sandwich that stretches across Scorton Creek to Town Neck Beach, the Sandwich Boardwalk is a popular place to take in the scenic views and adorned by the local teens for bridge jumping during high tide. It's currently closed while under repair after a severe storm in the winter of '22. 

100 acres of magnificent garden design featuring rhododendrons, hydrangeas, daylilies, and more. Featured on CBS Sunday Morning during their hydrangea festival. Their winter spectacular, Gardens Aglow, is a must see during Nov/Dec and sells out annually.

Ocean and creek fishing is just a short walk from the house. Saltwater fishing licenses can be purchased at the Town Hall. 

If you're interested in digging for your dinner, recreational clamming permits can be purchased at the Town Hall for designated spots & dates.
